Approach

Three engagements. Each one ends somewhere you chose.

AI projects fail by expanding: a pilot becomes a program becomes a standing team. Ours are shaped the other way: fixed fee, fixed scope, and a clean exit at every stage. You always know what you’re buying and where it stops.

Engagement 1

Assessment

Fixed fee · typically 2–4 weeks

We map how the work runs today, what it depends on, what is reachable and what sits behind a login, and what the current way of doing it is costing you. The deliverable is written so you could hand it to any implementer, including someone who isn’t us.

1 · How the work runs today
Interviews with the people doing it now, and a map of what it depends on: published content, systems behind a login, spreadsheets, and the parts that only live in someone’s head. Where the problem is answer-shaped, we index your public content in the first days on Savanto Desk, so you are reacting to a working system rather than a document.
2 · What the current way costs
Ranked by volume and by cost: support time, rework, stalled deals, specialists interrupted, and the work done by hand that should not be.
3 · What to build
A scoped implementation plan: what connects to what, in what order, with milestones, a fixed price, and the risks named honestly. Written so any competent implementer could execute it.
Terms
What we need from you
A handful of interviews and read access to what you can share. No infrastructure changes, no procurement project, nothing installed.
What it costs to say yes
A fixed fee, sized to sit inside a department budget rather than a capital request, deliberately, so this is one person’s decision rather than a committee’s. Ask and we will tell you the number on the call.
The exit
You own the assessment outright. Most clients continue with us; the plan stands alone if you do not, and it is written to be useful even then.

Engagement 2

Implementation

Fixed scope · milestone-based

We build what the assessment scoped: your content, your systems, and the process connected, tuned against the cases that matter, and put in front of real users. Milestones are demonstrations, not status reports: each one is the system doing something it couldn’t do before.

Priced
Fixed against the assessment scope. Changes are re-scoped in writing, never absorbed silently.
Delivered
Milestones in weeks, not quarterly checkpoints: the platform does the heavy lifting and the engagement tunes it to you.
Presented
The output takes the shape the work demands: a comparison table, a drafted document, a number with its inputs shown. Never a wall of text, and scoped to your cases like everything else.
The exit
A running system your team can operate, with documentation. Support is a choice, not a hostage situation.

Engagement 3

Platform & support

Ongoing · annual term

A live system decays as your content and systems change. We host, monitor, and keep it accurate, or we hand it to your team and support them. This is where most clients stay, because the people who built the system are the ones answering for it.

Included
Hosting and monitoring, index freshness as your content changes, a defined allowance of tuning and changes each month.
Committed
Response times and a weekly checkpoint: commitments you can hold us to instead of vague availability.
The exit
Annual term with notice, and the system is yours either way.

How we work
Fixed scope, in writing
Every engagement has a written scope with named exclusions. Scope changes are decisions, not drift.
Milestones, not meetings
Progress is demonstrated, not reported. If a milestone slips, you hear it from us first, with the reason.
Response times, not availability
We commit to how fast we respond and when we check in, not to sitting in your standups.
Who does the work
Senior engineers, founder-led, with the Savanto platform underneath. No handoff to a delivery team you never met. See who you’re hiring →

Beyond answer systems

Answer systems are the productized engagement, and that one is Savanto Desk. But the discipline is the practice: the same shape builds forecasting and generation systems, LLM features inside your product, and AI-assisted delivery: fixed scope, milestones, one accountable party.

If your problem is AI-shaped and we’re not the right builders, we’ll tell you who to call instead.
